Daniel O'Sullivan and his Erin Stove

Why did Daniel choose Stanley? "It came highly recommended by my installer and I didn't consider any other stove. We chose the Erin stove as we wanted to make more use of our open fire so we went with a stove with back boiler that would also do our central heating. We love the fire glow…plus the heat is different. Its heats the entire room and not just the immediate area. The dynamic of the house has changed from warm in parts to nice and warm everywhere."

Has he noticed any change to his bills? "Most definitely. Since we got the stove 10 months ago in August we haven't bought oil since. We really only use the Erin to heat the house. The Erin is quick to light and heats 9 radiators for us. So far this year - September to June we spent €1,000 to heat the home. With oil it could be upwards of €1,500. We buy 2 cubic meter Birch or Ash and smokeless fuel 'Nuggets'. Cellbridge is in a smokeless area so we have to use the wood and smokeless fuels. Good combination is ash and half a bucket of eco brite heats the water, the sitting room and 9 radiators for 12 hours."

Daniel when asked what his favourite moment that includes his Stanley Erin "Friday Night Effect - Feet up on a Friday at the end of the week - PJ's, Bottle of beer and TV". Who could ask for anything more?
