Jack Butler And Shelly O'Brien based in north Cork had the Stanley ARGON 3 Sided Electric Fire installed in their new home 6 months ago. ‘It’s a new build so we couldn’t compromise on air quality with an open fire or solid fuel stove. We both love a fire and didn’t want the TV to be the main focal point of the room.
Why did Jack and Shelly choose a Stanley? ‘We wanted a 3 sided electric fire and a certain width of 1250mm. We looked at a lot of different electric fires in shops and we really liked the look of the Stanley electric fire. We both know the Stanley brand and grew up with Stanley’s in our home.’
What do Jack and Shelly love about the ARGON electric fire? ‘How cosy it can make the room. People visiting walk in and stop and look when it’s on. We love the fact there’s no cleaning or lighting. We had it on all winter and we loved it. If the room feels a bit cold we turn it on, close the door and the room heats in 10/15 minutes max. Least if something happened to our central heating system we could turn it on.
Do they have a particular favourite moment with your Stanley? ‘We had our first Christmas in the house and the sitting room looked lovely with the electric fire on and Christmas tree lighting.’
