Phil Coulter and his Supreme Deluxe Range Cooker
Phil had his Supreme Deluxe 90cm installed as part of a house renovation back in November 2016. He purchased the cooker with Kildress Plumbing Suppliers. ‘We were looking for something that gave the look of an AGA cooker but with a gas hob.’
Have they noticed a change in their cooking habits? ‘We used to have an AGA which was much bigger and a separate gas hob. The Supreme cooker is all condensed into one,complete with gas hob. Gas is so responsive and with 5 hobs in different shapes and sizes I can cook casseroles, vegetables, potatoes and gravy all at the same time. I love cooking and find it therapeutic….as an amateur! I’d never have had the patience to be a real chef.
What do they like about the Supreme Deluxe? ‘Being old fashioned about my cooking, I couldn’t see myself cooking on an electric hob. I wanted something with the look and feel of a traditional cooker but with all the modern elements.’
Does Phil have a particular favourite moment? ‘This will be our second Christmas with the Stanley Supreme. Last year we had 8 people for Christmas dinner including 5 of our 6 kids. The Supreme cooked up a storm. I call the Supreme my Toy. I never go to bed without giving it a polish.’’
